This easy recipe only takes a few minutes prep time but results in a wonderful meal for family and friends.
Ingredients:
3 -3 1/2 pounds beef, cubed
1 package dry onion soup mix
4 ounce can mushroom pieces with liquid
3/4 cup red wine, any you would drink
10 3/4 ounce can cream of mushroom soup
Directions:
Place meat in slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients and cook on low for 8-10 hours. Season to taste and serve over rice or pasta.

Sounds yummy and family friendly – and can toss in some celery, carrots or other veggies you have around, it would make a complete meal in one pot that tastes so good even the kids will eat the veggies. I just love my slow cooker. Incredible Shrinking Ladies blog
