I love Thanksgiving dinner, don’t you? This wonderful recipe brings a taste of the holiday into every month of the year.


4 boneless chicken breast halves, skin removed (or equivalent turkey breast fillets)
10 3/4 ounce can of Cream of Chicken soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1 package Stove Top Stuffing Mix with seasoning packet
1 3/4 cup hot water


Combine soup and sour cream in small bowl. Mix hot water, contents of seasoning packet, and stuffing mix. Place chicken or turkey breasts into slow cooker. Next, pour in soup mixture. Spoon stuffing on top of chicken (or turkey) and place lid on slow cooker. Cook on low for 6 – 8 hours.

This simple recipe holds lots of comfort food flavor, yet requires minimum time in the kitchen and little cleanup.
