Recipes – Easy Swiss Steak (four ingredients)

I’ve been making this recipe for years and my family still loves it. Not only is it easy to prepare, but it’s absolutely delicious. When you want a hearty meal but only have minutes to spend in the kitchen, try this one.

2 – 2 1/2 pounds round steak
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 large (28 ounces) can tomatoes with juice, diced
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Cut round steak into serving size pieces and place in bottom of slow cooker. Pour dry onion soup mix, can tomatoes, and Worcestershire sauce on top of meat. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

If you would like to thicken the sauce before serving, stir a scant tablespoon of corn starch in a few tablespoons of cool water. Pour into the slow cooker and stir. Cover again and let set about 4-5 minutes.
