My family loves chicken and dumplings. However, most recipes for this wonderful comfort food are rather time consuming. Here is a simple recipe that will save you lots of time over traditional chicken and dumpling recipes and still deliver the same delicious meal.
6 chicken breasts, cooked and cut into pieces
4 cups water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
2 cans (10 3/4 ounces) cream of chicken soup
1 can buttermilk biscuits, cut into small pieces
Place first four ingredients into a large soup pot. Turn range to medium-high heat and bring contents to a boil, stirring frequently. Drop cut biscuit pieces one at a time into the boiling mixture. Reduce heat to low and cover pot. Simmer for about 15 minutes.
