This is one of those fruit salads that can be made year round owing to its readily available ingredients. I love serving it with ham or pork, but it’s a winner at any meal or when you want a light dessert.


20 ounce can pineapple chunks, well drained
11 ounce can mandarin oranges, well drained
15 ounce can peach slices, well drained
2-3 bananas, sliced
1 can peach pie filling


Gently mix canned fruit and banana slices in a large bowl. Fold in pie filling. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.

Optional toppings: chopped nuts, mini-marshmallows, whipped topping
